Training

THE SBLO TRAINING WORKSHOP is an immersed offsite three day intense training session that will provide information and tools necessary for small business liaison officers, supplier diversity managers, procurement professionals and program managers, like you, to strengthen their small business program knowledge and to apply it in improving their program.

ON SITE TRAINING we will provide customized on-site training for as many people as you wish. We will conduct interviews with company representatives to understand your business and listen to the concerns of your employees. Next, we will prepare material that covers the course topic in light of your needs and then present the customized material to attendees. The course typically takes about two days where we reserve enough time on the second day to respond to additional questions and specific issues of concern. We find our on-site customized training not only responds to organizations’ unique needs but is economical when more than two employees would benefit from the course.

Mentor Protégé Programs

The MPP has the ability to uniquely transform a small business and enhance its capabilities to win contracts and subcontracts as a direct result of its participation. Mentors develop long-term business relationships with small business concerns and can accrue credit toward small business subcontracting goals. Protégés receive relevant technical and developmental assistance and can qualify for sole-source contracts from mentors; all participants cultivate teaming opportunities with their partners to win new contracts and/or subcontracts. We can develop or teach you how to develop an agreement and take it through the approval process with various agencies.

Small Business Reporting

As part of the President’s Management Agenda for Electronic Government, the Small Business Administration (SBA), the Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE), and a number of Agency partners collaborated to develop the next generation of tools to collect subcontracting accomplishments. This government-wide tool is known as the electronic Subcontracting Reporting System (eSRS). We will provide instruction, policies, implement processes and assist you with this web of confusion by navigating your firm through the maze of small business reporting.
